Outstation trips are a different commitment than a quick city ride — you're trusting one driver for hours or days, often across unfamiliar roads. A few checks up front save a lot of hassle later.
1. Confirm the fare structure. Outstation pricing is usually a per-km rate plus a driver allowance, with a separate night-stay charge if the driver stays over. Know all three before you book, not after.
2. Check the vehicle class matches the trip. A hatchback that's fine for a city hop can feel cramped on an 8-hour highway drive — pick a class that matches the actual distance and passenger count.
3. Ask about toll and parking charges. On most platforms these are billed separately from the base fare — confirm whether they're included or added at the end.
4. Verify the driver is licensed for interstate travel. Some state permits are city- or state-specific, which matters if your route crosses a state line.
5. Share your itinerary with someone. Even with live tracking, it's good practice to share your route and expected arrival time with a friend or family member.
6. Know the cancellation window. Outstation bookings are often locked in a day or more in advance — check how close to departure you can still cancel without a fee.
7. Plan for return trip logistics. Decide upfront whether you need the same driver to wait and bring you back, or whether you'll book a fresh return trip — the pricing differs.
